Liz Seymour's Busy Weekend - Music Video and Seussical

I have been busy this past weekend! Phew!

I think Saturday went by and I was awake for a full 24 hours, with a 2-hour nap in there somewhere.

Seussical opened on Thursday after a long week of tech and dress rehearsals. I'm just starting to catch up on sleep now. It opened with a bang and the audiences really seem to be enjoying it. There is tons going on in each scene, so there is plenty to watch.

I choreographed my big number and the lyrical number in Act 2. I'm really pleased with how they look and I'm grateful for the talent of the dancers involved. The show runs this weekend and next. On Saturday I spent the entire day working on a surprise to go along with one of my CD songs, Taylor the Latte Boy. It was a long day of traveling around, but I think people will really enjoy the final product. Hopefully I'll have some footage to show you soon. I will tell you that it involved the art museum steps, the LOVE Statue, a wedding, lots of coffee, and a stellar performer, my grandfather! There is lots of fun to come! I will keep you posted.

The CD is in the mixing stage and now we're working on packaging. I'm so grateful for the contributions of friends and family to make this all possible. I could never have done all this without the emotional and financial support that I've been given recently.

We're right on track for the CD release in November!
