Liz Seymour Closes Seussical, Announces Cabaret on Saturday, October 11, 2008

This week, I will close Seussical.

I have had such a blast. Mayzie is a smaller role, but very fun to play.

The best part about the show is the new people I've met and the feedback from those who have come to see it. Doing a show can really take over your life, so although I'll miss doing the show, I am looking forward to getting back to the little things in life, like cleaning my house. HA!

I have completed all my vocal work on the CD and now it is in the final mixing and mastering stages. I'm so excited. It has been amazing to get so much great feedback from friends and family. We're planning some concerts to promote the final CD once it is ready, so I'll keep you posted with future events.

Mark your calendars! My next performance (after this weekend of Seussical), will be October 11, 2008 at the Players Club of Swarthmore Theater. I'm singing in a cabaret with a small group of VERY talented performers and I'm really looking forward to it.
