Song Instrumentation

Today Gina and I met about the songs for the upcoming CD. I have narrowed it down to 13 songs for the CD and Gina and I discussed instrumentation. I was excited as we talked about lots of instruments for the big songs. We are getting close to a full orchestra feel for a few big numbers, so that is exciting to me.

We made a light list of people we know who might be able to play, but that list is still open, and of course, we're not ready to book anyone until we're farther along in the process.

After today's meeting, I am starting to see the project become a reality. There are still tons of things yet to do to get to the finish line, but slow and steady progress is good! I think I'll work more on some marketing things this week, but I need to get some more research done on studios and such soon too! Thank goodness for a to-do list to keep me sane!
