Liz Seymour Has Kidney Stones

Ouch!!

I was having what seemed to be abdominal pain on Monday, and by Wednesday, I was in a ton of pain in my lower right side of my back.

I've been at YPTW's Thoroughly Modern Millie rehearsals (yptw.org) nonstop, so it was hard to slow down and take care of it. Luckily, Dr. Dotti was at rehearsal Wednesday night and sent me to do some tests at her office. She thought I had kidney stones and put me on an antibiotic. The next day, I went to my doctor and got a CAT scan and blood work (which would have never happened unless Dr. Dotti had called). The CAT scan showed I have not one but two kidney stones!

The painful part about kidney stones is when it travels from the kidney to the bladder. One had made that journey and the other one was still in my kidney.

Currently, I haven't been able to tell if I've passed either one, but I think that there is more pain to come as the second moves to the bladder.

UGH!

On a brighter note, TMM opened last night and the children were FABULOUS!! It is so rewarding to work so hard and then put all that work in front of an audience! Great job, Millie Cast!!!
