Liz Seymour at YPTW Summer Camp 2008

As I said in my interview with Josh Young (Liz Seymour and Josh Young Remember and Look Ahead - Click Here To Listen To That Interview!), I return to Young People's Theatre Workshop (YPTW) each year because of what it has given me over the years.

I teach, choreograph, and get involved with young people from kindergarten through high school graduates.

Here is a short video about this year's camp. You'll notice that it features teachers and students, not me. Oh sure… you can hear me counting steps as we rehearsed on a darkened stage at Eastern University, but camp is all about the process and the interaction. Scene study, auditioning, Broadway Rep, dancing and dance movement, writing a 10-minute musical, and building confidence in each of our students.

Our fall and winter semesters of classes focus on building a good performer and a good person. And each spring we produce a large musical involving 60 - 75 students in the production and back stage.

Hey, is there any way to put this on google video so it can be downloaded, or would that violate 084905483q05084574 copyright laws?

Cool video, thank your dad for me!

I miss camp… :(
