Liz Seymour at CD rehearsal

I had such a great time yesterday!

I had my first full CD rehearsal. I went to Gina's house and we sang through and worked all the songs so that we're prepared for next week. Claudia came as well so we could work our duet. Josh had two shows at the Walnut, so he wasn't able to join us.

We recorded each of the songs on the ipod so we can listen to them and learn from the rehearsal prior to our recording. I'm looking forward to hearing it so I can study my stuff. Gina was just wonderful at the rehearsal and gave me a lot of great things to think about and work on.

I'm now even more excited about next week and getting into the studio to make it all happen.

I snuck out this video from my Dad's studio - he's had his own photography and video studio since 2000 and he might not want this video out yet (since he's creating a documentary on producing my CD and the music videos we'll shoot next week in Las Vegas, Hoover Dam, and the Grand Canyon).

I can't show you much, but here's the end of Still Hurting. Gina is at the piano in her rehearsal room which is filled with a piano, 2 harps, lots of guitars and drum equipment, and all kinds of electronics. Wow… really lucky to have Gina working on this with me.
